The diary game/22-12-2024/ Things I bought at mandate market
Hi friends,
After that I put on my clothes and went straight to the market to purchase the things we don't have. When I reached the market, everywhere was calm, but things were also expensive.

Scotch bonnet pepper with tomatoes bring out the best |
I bought tomatoes from a vendor at the rate of ₦1000, which is about 3 Steem. I heard people say that one big basket of tomatoes is now ₦65,000, which is about 158 Steem.
I looked around for other things I need to buy. There was a young lady selling palm oil at a cheaper rate, so I bought ₦1,800 worth of palm oil from her, which is about 4 steem.
Slaughter full chicken
On my way back, I saw a whole chicken about to roasted on fire. I asked the Mallam how much the whole chicken was, and he said ₦10,000. I offered to pay ₦9,000, but he didn't agree. Since we couldn't agree on the price, I left the place to buy spaghetti.
As I was moving around the market, I saw a mallam selling onions. I asked him how much the basket of onions was, and he said it was ₦13,000, which is about 33 steem. I was so surprised by how the price suddenly changed, and everyone stated that it was because of the removal of subsidy that skyrocketed the price of commodities in the market. I told the seller I was coming back, but I couldn't make it. I went home to rest. When I woke up, I decided to write about how I spent my day.
