Hello My Dear Friends,

I welcome you all to my blog and I hope everyone is feeling fine. Today, I would like to share my diary activities from work to the market square.

The alarm woke me up at exactly 5:28 AM where I set it. I brushed my teeth and took my bath at the same time so that I would not be rushed when I am late to my place of work. After I bathed, I performed ablution to pray Salat al-Subhi. I put on my clothes and headed to the office by commercial tricycle. There are not many activities in the office today. When it was 3:57 PM, I left my place of work to meet my friend. As I sat down in his shop, he told me to accompany him to the Mandate Market, and I agreed.

When we first entered the market, we bought tomatoes at the rate of 2,000 naira, which is equivalent to 9 steems. We asked the sellers to pack it inside the nylon. As we moved around the market, we also bought scotch bonnet peppers and cayenne pepper at the rate of 3,500 naira, which is about 11 steems. The peppers are fresh because the new ones just arrived in the market. The prices of all commodities are starting to increase because we are in the Ramadan period. Everyone is at the market buying what they need to prevent prices from rising further.

Not only that, many sellers value their customers a lot by shouting and getting the attention of buyers to purchase their goods. We bought onions from sellers who were sitting beside the truck at the rate of 1,000 naira. We also noticed that palm oil was not available in the house, so we bought 5 litres of palm oil for 22 steems. We went to one woman to blend the pepper at the market. Before that, we purchased garlic and ginger to blend together with pepper and tomatoes we bought in order to give us good taste and to also improve our health.

Additionally, the above picture show the cow meat we purchased for 7,000 naira, equivalent to 18 steems, and asked the sellers to pack them separately in two black nylon bags.

After we purchased the meat, we remembered that we need vegetables and Ewedu, known as jute leaves. We bought the two for 500 naira. So, we don't need anything else; we left the market.

I am hungry and tired, and I need to find something to eat. It is almost late; most of the food sellers in my area have closed. I went home and opened my Steemit account to read and upvote articles I find interesting. Thanks for taking your time to read my post.
