Weekly Reflections #07 : Life's Turning Points | A new member comes into my family.

I hope everyone is well in this beautiful world of God. Alhamdulillah, I am also well and healthy with the prayers of all of you. First of all, I would like to thank the honorable moderator, #damithudaya, who has organized such a beautiful competition. A turning point in my life happened last week. I have become the father of a daughter.

A new phase in life has begun. I kept my wife under a doctor's observation for about nine months. When my wife suddenly fell ill, I was admitted to a hospital. After being admitted to the hospital, the doctor took the test and made a decision after seeing the report. Then, the wife will have to operate and deliver the baby. I was in a lot of fear. Finally, I signed the consent form for the operation. I didn't like seeing my wife suffer anymore. The doctor took the patient to the operating room. Me and my family members were waiting outside the operational theater.

About two hours later, the news came that I had become the father of a baby girl. I thanked God by saying Alhamdulillah. The nurse brought my daughter to the hospital and demanded a tip from me. I gave him a tip of 2000 taka. He was very happy. Then I informed my wife. The wife was still on saline. He gestured to me and told me that he was bald.

I was happy. On top of that, I went to get sweets from the sweet shop. I fed sweets to all the family and all the doctors and nurses in the hospital. Stay in the hospital for six days. On the fourth day, the wife suddenly had breathing problems. I quickly called the nurse. The nurse brought the doctor. The doctor asked the nurse to give him oxygen. After giving oxygen for half an hour, steady breathing became normal. I was somewhat relieved. The daughter had no issue. She was healthy in every way. I returned home after six days with my wife and daughter. The parents were very happy. Everyone in the family is saying that the girl is like me. No one is saying she is like her grandmother. According to our religion, we have to do a cheetah on the seventh day. I bought it from a Khasi market. The price of Khasita was 15 thousand rupees.

Khasita's mother liked it a lot. The name of the baby girl is Aqsa Binte Mukit. Everyone liked the name. Khasi was slaughtered and distributed among all. Some meat was cooked and eaten with the whole family. With the arrival of a new family member, many responsibilities have increased. All of you will pray that I can make my daughter like a human being. I can illuminate the light of Islamic education.
