How comfortable are you ordering food delivery now from a restaurant?

I was quite dubious about ordering food online 6 months back. Obviously, safety amid Covid-19 was the major reason. However, now I am pretty comfortable with this sort of service. I’ve been ordering food online using delivery apps. While people have started to step out for dine in, I don’t prefer that, at least for now.

I am quite surprised with the way restaurants are taking their customers’ safety seriously and that they are taking adequate safety measures. The runners will have their faces covered with masks. Most of the time, they will simply ring your doorbell and leave the packet at your doors. You can track your order through the live location feature in your delivery apps. The apps will also update you regarding the runner’s body temperature. So, you can prepare accordingly before stepping out.

Although I usually prefer contactless delivery. But when the internet is down and I’m unable to pay online, I take safety measures on my part as well. I make sure to wear my mask, keep a sanitizer in my pocket and then step out of my door to receive the order. And once I pick the packet, I sanitize it first, wash my hands and throw away the packaging. So, yeah. There’s nothing to worry about online food delivery apps. I am comfortable and I’m sure most of you would be, too.

Your post is informative. I also know an online supermarket in Dubai Gulf Fruits where I can order any fruits and vegetables online at an easy price. I believe that in the era of junk and fast food, we should also focus on our health and should balance our diet.
