Event Implementation Schedule

After preparing for the event for more than one week, finally the Workshop to Get to Know the Steemit Platform was successfully carried out. As a reminder, we will hold this event on April 11, 2021 at Taufik Kopi 2, Lhokseumawe City. The event took place on the 2nd floor, we rented a room which is equivalent to the VVIP Room.

The facilities at this cafe are very supportive for the implementation of this event. In addition, this activity is also carried out in the city center, a place where public activities take place. If we browse through Wikipedia, an explanation will be found as below.

Kota Lhokseumawe is a city in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. Located right in the middle of the eastern line of Sumatra. Located between Banda Aceh and Medan, this city is a vital route of distribution and trade in Aceh.

Presentation Method

In the implementation of the event, everyone has their respective roles. Including where we have to make material, compile event rundowns, and compile learning methods. We made this event in such a way, where the goal is to make it a communicative and interactive learning.

We have to attract the sympathy of all the audiences who have been present in this room. Luckily, I myself already have experience with this problem. I often fill out learning materials for students in scout organizations, become a speaker and moderator at several events.

However, the challenge this time is that I have to maximize the way that everyone present in this room understands about Steemit. That means, the learning process and presentations in this room build communicative and interactive learning methods.

This method is not just giving a presentation, but the speaker acts directly to guide, give tutorials, take action, and solve problems faced by the audience.

You can see for yourself through the video or photo that we upload in this post. Take a look and see how we build communication with all the attendees in this room. For learning materials, I entered the last session, delivering a presentation after @arie.steem.

This learning session is about Sign Up, Create Post, Subscribe Communities, Newcommer's Achievement, Voting Power, Downvote Power, Resouce Credits, and the basics of Markdown. This session should take less than 30 minutes.

Is it easy to register a Steemit account?

Yes, it is very easy and instant. Only need email and cell phone number. We were able to get an account fast.

The most difficult material to understand on this presentation?

About markdown, because it relates to certain codes and maybe we have to learn more, slowly we will be able to understand it later.

Presentation satisfaction level?

Satisfied, because we are guided directly from the initial stage.

Conclusion

In this event we have brought several new users to the Steemit platform and invited old users to return to activity. Through this presentation which lasted more than 2 hours, we hope that the participants can get to know more details about the Steemit platform and the value behind it. Workshop events like this are very important to continue in order to bring more people to Steemit.

The key is we have to do a quality, valuable and useful presentation method. Furthermore, new users will continue to be guided through the Whatsapp or Discord group. We will continue to build communication with the participants who have attended this event. Provide more learning and see their progress on the Steemit platform.
