I'm quadruple dolphin now!
Today I reached over 20 000 SP, so I can add another dolphin to my collection. One more and I'll be halfway to becoming an orca! I wish to reach that level before the women's day which in Poland is the 8th of March. I may not be the woman (although I believe we all have an element of both: men and women in ourselves), but it would be a nice deadline anyway. Let's say that the fifth dolphin that I wish to join our team will be the female.

As I announced some time ago, I'm going to power up 100% of my income until the moment when STEEM value will reach again at least 0.60 USD, then I'm moving back to club75. I may not be able to use the club100 tag because to do that last three months should be without any withdrawal, but technically I consider myself a member of that exclusive community.
If the value of STEEM will be as low as now (or nearly as low as now), I may also buy some extra steem on valentine's day. I do have around 500 USD in Solana so I'll change it all for our crypto and power it up. Well, it might not be 500 USD anymore, because Solana was not the best investment and it lost in the last three weeks like 75% of its value, but maybe it will grow again in the next 2-3 weeks.
As we all know, it's a crazy time for any cryptos. Chinese ban (tenth or eleventh - the fact that they have to ban cryptocurrencies so often shows how idiotic and impossible to introduce it is), then the inner conflict in Kazakhstan (every 10th BTC mine is from that country and the internet was cut off for a while), the announcement of Russia that crypto will be banned (people say that's to strengthen the currency, which will be important before another invasion on Ukraine), posts of Zuckerberg about super-fast quantum computers... All that made crypto as cheap as it wasn't for a long time. Remember though that Bitcoin was recently introduced as the official currency in El Salvador, remember that Paraguay is considering the same thing and they want to use the extra electricity that now is sold to Brasil to... Mine their own BTC, remember that J.Sun is playing the politician now and he will be lobbying to legalize crypto in more countries, mostly the Caribbean and South American. The long-term perspectives are great, so buying crypto, including STEEM is the best choice that you can make.
Same with powering-up. Do not withdraw anything now, when STEEM is so weak. Face your fears, power up what you have and wait for the boom that is coming. The value of your savings will be doubled or maybe even tripled.

Congratulations on your achievement of reaching 4 dolphins Sir. And i wish you success on the next journey of getting 5 dolphin. I like your consistency and hardwork. It's encouraging to newbies like me and others in my category and i am working really hard to also get there in future.
I agree with you when it comes to powering up now that steem price is low.
It's a very good idea. But one thing that is always affecting us here in this context is when we are depending solely on steemit as the only source of income. Trust me most users earn their living on steemit and that is affecting their growth. It becomes challanging to take advantage of this season. Sadly, i'm a victim...lol, but i am also making effort to power up always. Though it's challanging, but i am determine to face my fears.

Sure, the general rule is to invest only as much as you can afford to. I understand that some users are thinking about Steemit as the main source of income. In that case, try to power up at least a bit more than normal and remember that the more you power up, the faster you grow and in effect, the more you earn in the future ;)
