Greetings everyone,

As steemians we must take it upon ourselves to represent steem in whichever part of the world we may find ourselves. This can be done through the regular wearing of our t-shirts, visiting various shops in town and distribution of flyers around our community. It is our duty to do these at all times so as to sensitize the youth and traders to become part of this ecosystem.

Melcom is a huge part of the shopping lives of ghanaians which is why they have the popular slogan "Where Ghana Shops". I visited one of their shopping agents in the market to buy some items while carrying out my promotional exercise. This is because, if we are able to get the attention of some of the big shops in town, it makes it easier to gain massive adoption of steem as a means of exchange.

Each of us should strive to engage in a promotional activity at least once a week. It is all about making plans towards it and properly executing said plans. That way, it is planned well and executed in a better fashion. Otherwise, you would always find excuses and reasons why it may not be a good time.

It is not really as difficult as it may seem. This is because, when you make your intention to carry out a promo exercise, you just set out with your t-shirt and flyer and start interacting with your intended audience. At times, they would even be the first once to start asking you about steem and what it entails.

Also, don't just tell them about steemit, explain to them how they can invest in the steem token by powering up. That way they know it is something they should have a long term plan for, and not a short term scheme. This is what I hope other promoters inculcate in their promotional endeavors so that they can hopefully have a great impact in traders and potential investors.

We are taking conscious steps down here to try and bring on board as many individuals and investors as possible. Hopefully we can get more hands in joining our promo work.
