PROMOTING STEEMIT IN THE PHILIPPINES IN COLLABORATION WITH A YOUTUBER FRIEND ( He has more than 10,900 Subscribers) AND MY PAST EXPERIENCE AS A COMMUNITY LEADER
INTRODUCTION: Promoting Steemit as my great comeback!
Greetings! Steemians, take notice! @julstamban is back to support Steemit with the goal of expanding the community, especially in the Philippines. For the benefit of the members and everyone on this forum, the Philippines is a third-world nation, and before I get to my main points and all the initiatives and plans to campaign steemit here, let me just share some details about how steemit can support a some of freelancers and jobless people all over the Philippines, as well as my previous experiences in this platform as a community leader. This is for sure my great comeback in steemit.
AS STEEMPH LAGUNA COMMUNITY LEADER
This was our first meeting as core members of steemph laguna three years ago, with me as the leader of this community that curates and assists newbie members on steemit. Back then, we also promoted Steemit to our close friends, who quickly grew in number.

I am in tears while reflecting on this, to be honest, I missed the old days and all the plans we had collaborated on together. I am planning to bring them back again one at a time to help me promote steemit. Let me also share our mission and vision back then!
Vision
We envision this community to have developed and maintained a strong bond among its members and other STEEMIT communities inside and outside the Philippines. We foresee STEEMPH Laguna to have established sustainable services such as seminars, outreach programs, pro-environment campaigns, and financial literacy programs. We look forward to the members of this unit have gained full knowledge and understanding of how STEEMIT works and how they can help other individuals who are not yet aware of this platform. We see this community and all its members have developed their full potentials and gained self-confidence through their hard work and dedication to promote STEEMIT in Laguna.
Mission
Our mission is to create a dynamic and open community that promotes STEEMIT as a symbol of unity, camaraderie, and harmony among its members in the province of Laguna. We aim for this community to become a portal of knowledge, ideas, and talents where everybody can share freely what they have to offer through contributing quality posts and content. To enlighten the new generation about the advantages of using STEEMIT platform and how they can achieve financial freedom with its technology. Provide services and programs that are essential to the community and the environment.
JOBLESS FILIPINOS AND HOW STEEMIT CAN HELP REDUCE IT SOMEHOW

4 million Filipinos were jobless in January, according to the government, as the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine restrictions were extended until 2021. The unemployment rate reached a 16-year high. The rate of unemployment escalated to 8.7percent in terms in January, according to early findings from the Philippine Statistics Authority's (PSA) labor force survey (LFS). If you live in the Philippines, these figures are true and can be felt by the masses, but I am not here to go into depth. The aim of this post is to demonstrate how steemit can be used to assist some of my fellow Filipinos. Of course, if you ask me right now, and even in the near future, reaching out to millions of jobless Filipinos is a pipe dream, but it is better to take small steps than none at all. So the target for now are students and people who need supports for the internet fees and the likes, as it is hard to get a part-time job here and is risky as well because of the covid-19.

Actually, I just spoke to him and introduced him to steemit today, and I set out all of the plans for how we can merge our efforts, with me as the lead here in the Philippines, specifically in my province (for the time being), and him sharing or campaigning steemit in his vlogs and other social media accounts. He is one of my best friends in real life, and we've known each other since Pre-school! He instantly agreed because he sees this as a win-win situation for both of us; he can also gain subscribers to his YouTube channel here on steemit and monetize his high-quality content ( that is for sure he is one of my meticulous friend when we talk about the quality).

Unfortunately, we can't meet up face to face so we only do a call and instructed and taught him all about steemit. He reached the first milestone by creating an account today as a proof I told him to do a handwritten steemit verification like we usually do for newcomers. I think he could contribute a lot to our community especially on our campaign for people to know more about steemit.

I could also use my power as the admin of the page to include steemit in my posts there with the hopes of we can recruit them organically and once they are here on steemit it is our responsibility to guide them. We should also set the culture of quality articles and we must ready our curators to explore and search for those said quality contents and reward them accordingly.
I am going to update you pretty soon as we are going to speed up our campaign because we have a lot of time now to work things out! For sure this will produce great results in the community and steemit as a whole!
