Steem Market Promo : Introducing Deli shop Attendants To Steem, Addressing Business Concerns About Steemit

I'm so happy to see the new trend on steemit now, gradually businesses are joining us and that's a good step to take us to a greater heights. I must do more for the brand(STEEM) that I believe in to see it at the top. I have decided to join the campaign that aims at introducing businesses as well as individuals to Steemit. The steem market promo is one of the great contests that will get more and more business men and women to join us here in the days ahead.

Thanks to @nattybongo for this contest that is helping to keep the promo work active and giving us the opportunity to reach out to people from all walks of life to introduce steem to them. Here is my submission to the contest, it's about my steem promo work at shoprite shopping center.

I have been to shoprite for many times and this place looked so busy with people buying from their sections of food. I knew it would be hard to get any attention from these attendants as they are constantly attending to people who troop in their numbers to buy from them.

Getting their attention seemed impossible. I prepared adequately for this promo work and so I was never perturbed about this kind of challenge at all. My steem promo sticker will simply do all the talking on my behalf. A lot of people buy from shoprite, it's the reason I channeled steem promo there.

I moved around for while to spot the right time when the place will finally be free so I could talk to the workers. The right time came when I got the attention of the caretakers. I gave a brief explanation of what steemit is about and how business can grow on steemit.

I got the message to other attendants but then one of the attendants friendly requested a drink which I gladly gave out ¢10, this is equivalent to 2 Steem. There a times when we should let people feel our brand(STEEM) by giving them a simple treat.

The chief caretaker moved out of the counter just to hear more. I used few minutes to give a talk about steemit and steem. He was already interested and asked for a copy of the sticker to the pasted on their notice board so that all the workers at shoprite will read more from there since they were busy.

One of the concerns of businesses is about Steemit's popularity; They wonder if their business could thrive on steemit, to them steemit is new.

To overcome this challenge there is a need for mass campaign to create more awareness about steemit. I have been embarking on these trips to business centers just to have one and one talk with business owners and to educate them about steemit. It's time people get our message right and this I believe should be a collective work because steemit is you and I.

I could not get them to sign up due to their busy schedules but my joy lie in the fact that Steem awareness education was given besides the stickers to do the rest of the work.
