RE: Victory Comes With Creative and Dedicated Work - Steem is The Blockchain Of The Future
The topic of how to attract people to Steemit can be approached in so many ways. Which is the most effective way of advertising the platform?
Ray Kroc, the founder of McDonald's said: "Take care of the customer, and the customer will take care of you."
In a way, I believe in that strategy, meaning that happy Steemians will gladly spread the word. But, amazingly enough, I just saw a McDonald's ad in the TV, meaning that even McDonald's know that they have to spread the word.
This is an exciting topic, and a very important one! Connecting to influential people outside Steemit is for sure a key (together with lots of other keys)!
The point is that we have one difference here, we have customers / investors, if we satisfy investors and not those who do not have money then we do not have the whole story, if it is the other way around then we do not have satisfied investors. Steem Power cannot support an unlimited number of users, so evolution and progress will bring great results in the future.
I like the way you are thinking... I guess that is why it is important to surround yourself with people who don't necessarily say what you want to hear, but what they think themselves (and they actually have an opinion).
Somehow, I would guess that if the platform attracts new users, the users will be happy, and so will the investors, because the new users will be more eager to possibly invest as well, raising the price of the token, which again will make investors happy.
But to be honest, I feel like there should be a responsible thinking among token holders and investors as well... because if all the whales do is to vote for themselves and their friends, then the new shrimps coming in will only receive tiny upvotes worth nothing, and it will take away their courage, and they will leave the platform. So, I am really happy about how there are several initiatives on the platform made in order to help newcomers, because that is incredibly important if we want to see it grow and that new users will stay for a longer period of time and not leave after a week or two!
