May I be so bold as to challenge you on this statement -
Steemit is not a social network
For Steemit to be mainstream (I'm struggling to think of the correct terminology), doesn't it need to be considered as a social network to rival the likes of Facebook and the various message boards available? And by achieving mainstream adoption, the potential within the steemit ecosystem can be unlocked?
EDIT: I see the logic of a business network though.
Steemit = Social Business Netwrok = 3 in 1 = Social Network - Business - Blockchain
