Dandim Bireuen Hands Over Water Pumps to Support the Agricultural Sector.

Commander of Kodim 0111/Bireuen, Lt. Col. Inf Ade Munandar, S.I.Pem directly handed over agricultural machinery in the form of water pumps to farmer groups throughout Bireuen Regency, Friday (14/6/2024).

At least, there are 21 water pump units currently being handed over by Dandim 0111/ Bireuen to farmer groups in its territorial area.

"It is hoped that the handover of this water pump can increase agricultural land to make it more productive and can increase the IP from IP 1 to IP 2," he said

It was explained that this program is one of the government's efforts and commitment to improving the welfare of the community, especially farmers, so that they become more advanced, independent and modern in order to realize national food self-sufficiency and make the Ministry of Agriculture's program to expand PAT planting areas a success through the pumping program.

Apart from that, he said the deployment of personnel, especially Babinsa, was also carried out to assist farmers to be more active in planting. The existence of Babinsa must be able to provide a solution.

"Babinsa must be able to synergize with all farmers in efforts to optimize food security," stressed the Dandim.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bireuen Regency Agriculture Office, Mulyadi SE MM, said that with the help of pumping or water machines, this could help improve the welfare of farmers with abundant results.
