Teaching strategies

Teaching and teaching strategies are many, and they vary, and the teacher may use one method in one of the subjects and then use another method. Following is a quick review of the most important teaching strategies, which are:
1- Inductive
2- Deductive
3- investigative
inductive method
It is the natural way to learn and teach concepts. That is, the teacher begins with the students with tangible facts and learning situations and their direct sensory experiences, and then realizes these facts or distinguishing characteristics and knows the relationship between them, and then the teacher directs his students to derive the concept to be learned.
Induction is a mental and intellectual activity based on experimentation and processing information related to a phenomenon in a scientific way in order to arrive at generalizations, principles and theories.
investigative method

It is the method that makes the learner think and produce, that is, it allows him to follow the behavior of the scientist in research and arriving at results. This method, with its two types (free and directed) is characterized by many advantages in teaching, the most prominent of which can be the following:
Features of the investigative method
1- The educated individual (the student) becomes a central focus in the learning and teaching processes.
2- Students develop the processes (skills) of inquiry, discovery, and scientific inquiry (science processes) as in observation, measurement, classification, interpretation, inference ... and experimentation.

3- Develop students’ scientific thinking, as it requires the creation of educational-learning situations (problem) or open-ended that requires the use of scientific methods, especially the scientific method, in research, thinking and conducting scientific experiments.
4- It is concerned with developing the students' intellectual skills and mental processes.
5- It confirms the continuity of (self) learning and the student's motivation towards learning, which means that the educational-learning process does not end with teaching the subject inside the school or the classroom only, but can extend outside the school as well.
6- It is concerned with building the individual (the student) in terms of his confidence and self-reliance, his sense of achievement, increasing his level of ambition, and developing his talents.

deductive method
It is the method that is based on emphasizing and developing cognitive concepts and practicing their use in new teaching-learning situations. In it, the teacher introduces the concept, then provides examples or facts related to it, or asks students for answers to verify that the concept has been learned.
