BEST WAYS TO AVOID THIS MISTAKE
99% Of Ecommerce Brands Get This Wrong"
Hello everyone, it's Hinds here, and today I want to talk about something that I think is really important for anyone who is running an ecommerce brand. And that is, the biggest mistake that I see so many ecommerce brands making.
Before I dive into what that mistake is, let me first give you a little bit of background. Ecommerce has exploded in recent years, and it's not hard to see why. With the rise of the internet and smartphones, more and more people are shopping online than ever before. In fact, in 2020 alone, ecommerce sales in the US grew by over 30%.
However, with so many ecommerce brands out there, it can be really difficult to stand out from the crowd. And that's where a lot of brands go wrong. They focus too much on trying to be different or unique, and not enough on actually providing value to their customers.
Now, don't get me wrong. Being different or unique can be important, but it should never come at the expense of providing value. So what do I mean by value? Well, value can come in many different forms, but at its core, it's about solving problems for your customers.
Let me give you an example. Let's say you're running an ecommerce store that sells skincare products. Sure, you could try to be different by using really unique packaging or by offering products that no one else has. But at the end of the day, what your customers really care about is whether your products actually work.
So instead of focusing on being different, you should be focusing on providing value by creating products that actually solve your customers' skincare problems. Maybe that means using high-quality, natural ingredients that are proven to be effective. Or maybe it means offering personalized recommendations based on your customers' skin types and concerns.
The point is, when you focus on providing value, everything else falls into place. Your customers will be happy, they'll tell their friends about your brand, and you'll start to see real growth and success.
So why do I say that 99% of ecommerce brands get this wrong? Well, it's because so many brands are still focused on trying to be different or unique, rather than providing value. And while that might work in the short term, it's not a sustainable strategy for long-term growth.
In conclusion, if you're running an ecommerce brand, I urge you to focus on providing value to your customers. Solve their problems, make their lives easier, and the rest will follow. Don't worry too much about being different or unique. If you're providing real value, you'll stand out from the crowd naturally.
