Steem Retrogames: Space Invasion

The answers vary from yes, to rather not because of addiction and also the deterioration of social interaction with others.
I asked a number of questions about Retrogames
This game is a few weeks old and was designed with enthusiasm but has so far been played by only a few.
Retrogames - the game Space Invasion - can only be played by PC users. If you do not have a PC then you cannot try this! A mobile phone version is planned.
After trying again and again it is impossible for me to try this game. There is a free version and one that you can play for a fee and with which you can win prizes. You can find a video on the Retrogames website and on YouTube.
Since Whalevault doesn't work for me (also not with the Kiwi browser), I went looking for someone with a computer (my son is building one).
What do you need?
- a computer
- Installation of the Whalevault extension (a link to Whalevault for Firefox is included, it's in Italian but you just have to click the button).) This turns out to be an option the game can be played for free without!
- Enter your account name and password (I took the posting key)
- Click on: Space Invasion
Then we couldn't start the game (the free version) no matter how many times we tapped p. Reason: You have to use the capital letter P so turn on the capslock.
The screen looks a bit messy to us because of the scoreboards. You can see the game in the middle. It is indeed retro (old-fashioned) and when you play it it reminds you of Tetris where blocks fall down that you have to fit together. In this case, they are aliens that you have to shoot. With the arrow keys you move from left to right (or you stay in place and wait until the attackers come closer) and with the space bar you shoot the invasion of unwanted guests out of the sky.
Perhaps this is a nice game for a hitman or for those who are fed up with me? Just shoot away.
Addictive?
Yes, I can imagine that this game is addictive especially if you are also a gambler.
Boring?
To some certainly, if you cannot move back and forth fast enough (two hands are needed or ask your child to operate the arrow keys while you shoot and drink tea, you do something nice together).
Notes:
- I did not buy a token to play this game because it says Binance which is forbidden in our country. Whether this is still possible is unknown to me. I didn't get an answer to this either so far.
- What the mobile (paid) version will be like and whether the internet connection or the speed of the device affects the result achieved I can't tell yet.
- I noticed that @frafiomatale has a particularly high score that I don't even come close to achieving it... Is there a mod or trick?
- I don't know if it matters for playing the game, but I can't see a part of the game on the screen (see the screenshots).
Do I recommend this game?
Given that there is nothing else and what relaxation and fun on Steemit is so nice, I say: yes, although this game is not (yet) directly accessible via Steemit via some button (I may be wrong but I don't see it).

I'll play the game a few more times when they're gone and I can secretly use the PC or uh... I'm just asking.
Before you start complaining about how it looks... retro means 25+ years old!

I've been playing this game in a friendly way, I tried to buy a token but I found that only Whalevault allows me to do so, I think they should expand the connection to Steem Keychain so that more users can have the opportunity to play it.
I hope to play it often, buying tokens... We should support the developments so that they can grow over time, in fact, they should join with @puss.coin so that it generates puss coins as rewards too.

This is a good tip. The game is not that old so within some time it might be realized though they have more faith in Whalevault.
Buying with Binance is not possible for me so I wonder if there's another option.

We need more ways to buy Steem, tokens and so on. The more difficult it is to buy it the fewer will join.
Btw, I didn't notice it was possible to play without whalevault we had a hard time making it operate.m. Can you write a review about your experiences with the game? It might be good if there's a Spanish review as well.

Aren't there always tricks to play a game? Isn't that the whole point a strategy? I am sorry I offended you it wasn't meant like that but more as humour although I read it back and it's a question if there is a mod or trick which is not uncommon if it comes to gaming. It is a question, I wonder and I say nowhere that you are cheating. As I understand that message didn't arrive.
I did my stinking best to try to make the game operate and promote it, although I have better things to do and some sleep wouldn't be bad either.
Indeed I should have counted to 100,000 or better let be and not bother and or write about this game.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if it's possible to buy tokens on SteemRetrogame using Steem Keychain? Although I use this application, the Whalevault option comes up automatically and doesn't allow me to link to SK.
This is the first time I heard about this game, and intended to try it, but after reading your post carefully I gave up and didn't want to try it, so far I only use my cellphone to surf social media, so this game is not for me.
Currently, games are developing rapidly, meaning that many games can be played even with old cellphones, so if games have to be played via computer it will be very difficult to compete.

I believe not many heard of this game. It's rather new and tried out right now so hopefully there are PC users willing to try it out and share their experiences. I borrowed a PC for a while to try and make the screenshots so people can see what it looks like.
For sure you can try out the mobile version soon and so can I.
