The wrong hashtags are a burden.
As a solo community that likes to upvote/reward stories, the conclusion after months of searching is that #story is a mess and hashtags are meaningless. Story writers hardly use it and many of those who do write no story at all.
Without awareness of the meaning of a word, it's better not to use a hashtag instead of the wrong one. With my community "Tales & Stories" I only want to upvote stories and tales and to me, a diary or reciting of a day or event or what happened as the photo was taken is not automatically a story. This means not many are rewarded these days and indeed the CSI remains low unless I use the power to upvote each post I see in an average community. I don't want to do this so if I can avoid it I will. The good news is I can because I do not ask for support, my posts are not upvoted by curators let alone read (@solperez is the exception if I join her "Art & Writing" contest (which you should too if you want to learn something).

He was looking forward to seeing her again.
How many times had he not secretly peeked at the woman everyone adored? She was always in the company of a strange man and he did not understand how such a woman could deal with such a failed creature. On the other hand, it gave him hope. He knew that he was not the best-looking student in the class and his appearance was not good either.
It was not so much his age that made him look older than he was but a lack of standards and values ​​and... hygiene.
He looked at the woman furtively as he sat at the gambling table. It was the only relaxation he had ... the bag of money was in his pocket and although the weight of the coins gave him a blissful feeling he still felt unhappy.

Is this seat still free?
The sensual voice startled him.
Would you like something to drink, she asked and without waiting for his answer she pushed a beer mug in his direction. He drank the golden liquid greedily, which tasted suspiciously like sewage, but he didn't care because she smiled at him and didn't speak another word to the gnome with whom she had entered the inn.

He downed one beer mug after another. He had no idea how much he had drunk, only that she had paid attention to him, him the man who had never had a girlfriend, let alone such a beautiful lady of standing.
As time passed, he became more relaxed. He laughed blissfully when she pinched his cheek and whispered words in his ear that made him blush.
Her hand caressed his chest and slowly slid down. Shivers ran down his spine when she looked deeply into his eyes. He tried desperately to control himself, but before he knew it, he grabbed her breast firmly.

In a flash, he thought: So this is love, this is real! She loves me, why didn't I grab that woman sooner instead of waiting? What a waste of time.

She laughed her enchanting laugh, her scent intoxicated both men who yearned for her. One followed her meekly, living blissfully in her shadow. She provided him with everything his heart desired with her charm, he was satisfied. The other was overwhelmed by feelings he didn't even know he had when her hand seemed to gently caress his thigh. Was it a dream or...

While she caressed his face and said the words he longed to hear, she gave the just stolen pouch of money to the only man who could charm her. It's not the appearance that counts, but what lies within and what they both have in common. Ugly and beautiful struggle with the same problems: Who really loves me as I am and can see through the outside and love the soul that lies within?

Cheated? Love, the feeling that counts may well cost a little money, after all, only the sun rises for nothing.
