Curating, is it difficult?
It depends on how well you can read, your interests, how many languages you speak, the will to translate and how broad your horizon is. Those who have no feeling for language, and no idea what creativity is, will have to make a lot of effort to find out whether what is written is good, real or is offered on a silver platter by AI.

AI
I don't need to do all the extra work you might say, there is an AI checker. There is indeed, but not every AI checker checks the text and if two or three say that the text is written by humans these checkers can still be wrong. If I read something and I believe there's something wrong, I search for the answer/s and indeed that can take hours of your time..
The average AI text is recognizable, even if it being tampered with. A few mistakes in it and then it seems real. Is that so? Anyone who takes the trouble to look at several other texts on the personal blog will get an idea of the writer's writing styles, interests and skills. If you suddenly read a great poem while the author has never written a poem before, then something is wrong.

Commenting
Okay, thanks, next time, is not worth the read. There are also writers leaving a good comment behind about ten times or more. Or they have three different comment which they use in turn.
Also regarding the comments, it should be checked whether AI was at work. AI checkers often cannot check short comments because a minimum of words is required. So if you doubt the text, it is better not to give an upvote but a comment can be left behind

Hashtags
I use them to search for posts of my interest and the search results are very disappointing. The use of hashtags has been pointed out for several months. This happened when I was a curator in September and did #wewrite (free writing) on Steemit. I find it remarkable that everyone who participated then and scored high points now ignores everything that has been learned. Where does this laziness come from to not promote yourself properly but complain about the lack of being found and the few or no upvotes?

Never mind, you don't have to explain it, I saw it today and it's not the first time. Leaving begging comments behind to those with a lot of SP and being rewarded is something that disgusts me. If you can find the time to figure out who is the idiot giving you upvotes why not invest that time in reading, commenting and engaging with that person?
I hear you thinking why should I if I receive upvotes (from curators known included). Why write something good, write a comment, and invest in relationships if a rushed text will get the same if not a bigger reward?

Note: a CSI of 79.1 is not a good sign if your vote at 100% is 0.

I don't really understand what you mean by that, was there a mistake or wrong tag?
By the way we curate a post that have value to the reader and I personally will say that in most cases though my comment might not be long but I will make sure to leave a lovely message to the writer.

Did you follow all lessons of #wewrite? If not I suggest you read and try to understand why what is taught. Next check what the posts of the participants look like. There is your answer.

P. S. And don't forget to check their comments back then and right after it ended and today. If I can do it, you can too.

Value to the reader or other readers, for the platfiorm? Do you give tips how to improve? Are you honest enough to say the post isn't good? Do you correct hashtags?

I think there's much to learn from you, I don't know about #wewrite but i want to know more about it. What is it all about and how can I participate.

Do you give tips how to improve? Are you honest enough to say the post isn't good? Do you correct hashtags?

I try it with newcomers some months ago but on my second thought I began to think whether it will discourage them. Some of them makes mistakes on their introduction post, using the wrong hashtag and withholding the necessary information needed for the verification.
