It was announced that there would be a cleanup among the list of communities. There are plenty abandoned and it's questionable if the owner ever shows up but a part of the communities that might look abandoned are still used so I wonder who decided that we all should use the same community.

How come for example this community is not visible? Why is it that I also couldn't find my community Tales & Stories and some new communities I know exist (started lately). Don't they deserve a chance to be found? I even tried to search for the name of the hives not showing up on the list and the message I received is that the community does not exist.
I find this harsh. Does this mean that those who work hard are no longer part of Steemit? Are we who promote, and comment a lot finished because? If there is a because I like to hear the reason why many communities are ignored and don't deserve to be seen. Who is it that labels those communities as the shame of Steemit?

Does the fact these communities are no longer visible also mean that those who posted in it are from now on invisible on Steemit?
I say invisible since we all are already on the internet no matter how hard we try to be noticed and promoted with the help of X or other social media. The fact is: that mainly old Steemit posts are found if a search engine like Google (or otherwise) is used. Indeed most of us can be found if we type 'steemit' + accountname but it shouldn't be that way. After all these years the World Wide Web should be flooded with content posted on this platform, How come we are not? How come Steemit doesn't tell that it does give priority to the order hashtags are used (indeed it does and it does and still only four if not three hashtags will do the job the rest is just for show and to check if a post is exclusive, the country or the club status (which still should be checked by moderators and curators since as I learned 8 out of 10 are wrong if it comes to the club status).

Back to my question: What is the idea behind not showing all the communities? Will the abandoned ones show if someone posts? (I doubt it) . Is everyone forced to join the same club or should new communities promote themselves more by spamming everyone and leaving their message behind?
