ᔕᑕᗷ Chit-Chat - Weekend Jan. 11/12, 2025
First comes first...
What was the week about? I made a list, no, no bucket list but topics to write about, #comments or most likely I did it to empty my mind.
Time flies and it's a good thing I learned to multitask a long time ago and most of what I do works perfectly with the automatic pilot switched on.
After the delivery (hurray, it's a dragon) the week was about reading, writing, talking, listening, commenting and in between I made some terrible drawings (drawings that don't make me feel happy because I have something else in mind than what appears on paper). So yes, I still try the apple, the egg, the cherries and the ear (next to the snowman I removed from the window seal today) and once in a while, I try a mouth. I don't practice enough, always in the middle of the night (bad light and eyes closed) plus if it comes to mouths. I think of my beloved one but if it comes to drawing mouths I think of a photo I took long ago of a trio.
2025
AI, plagiarism is a fact and so is trying to make an easy gain. Who is to blame? I let you reader answer this question for sure you have your thoughts just like the commenters have in a post written by @goodybest which I read with mixed feelings (the post and the comments) but the remark of @sbamsoneu about Judas made me laugh).
It's true that Nigerians are world famous for their scams but I like to add that they are not the only ones. India is our number one these days (sorry Nigeria) and Scotland had some groups conquering (and threatening) Europeans in very creative ways (the elderly are the first of course who are under attack).
It would be good if we could take the same door (translation of a Dutch expression) and do something with peace on earth but I doubt that will ever happen with the result that one rotten apple will affect the rest. If you ask me that's a good reason to try to get out of the basket and roll over to another place. Posting in your blog or out of sight is more relaxed. Of course, you can also start another account or your own community and do as you like.
Comments / Comment Contests
There are plenty of them and I listed a few I know in talkchannel hosted by @adeljose where most Steemians never have a look at the topics. I wonder how come since there are questions answered and the #wewrite group was sent over.
The topic of this week (two more days to go) is:
- SBD
- Being flexible in the case of AI/Plagiarism - Trust
- An alliance between communities/Steemians
My answers you find here
Fun
Yes, we have fun. It is brought by comments and all those great people like #cicisaja bringing joy to this platform. The out-of-the-box you can still join it runs a bit longer than a week.
More fun you find in the community Art & Artists where The Face of 2024 is the topic of the contest. I hope I have some time to show what I have in mind (all positive).
Let's try to laugh, it relieves.
It's good to see more old Steemians being active on this platform. If you read this I wish you all a great time, don't let a hobby give you a burnout.
I told my love that wherever I go I will always leave a trace behind so he knows he's in my mind.
Honey this one is for you.

I brought this write up from ur comment to Adeljose.
Apart from the usual stories and personal stuff we write here on Steemit, there are some instances you will need “ai” to help do sort out some issues for you especially when it has to do with all this research contest/lectures that is now taking place in SEC.
It gives a little idea about the topic and sites to make more research on the topic In order to broaden your knowledge. That way, you find it easier to put it in your own words base on your understanding.

I find it strange that AI teaches you what tobwrite. You can google, go to a library and study or... Shouldn't a teacher teach? Isn't that the idea? Next the student tries and if "wrong" he tries again. You only learn if you try things out yourself.
I can be wrong and so can AI (it even mentions it makes mistakes).
In short: if you join SLC you will never pass or get a high score if there's no AI unless you are already familiair with what is asked. 🤔
