RE: The Irony Of Plagiarism/AI-Translated Text vs High Upvotes

Vote buying practice is there, the vote seller wouldn't care about your text, as long as there are some STEEMs or SBDs along with the link in the memo, they will give the vote. For them it's just business as usual. Picture below is an example.

So it's good to close a deal with the seller? How much does one pay for such an upvote? Does it benefit or is it delegation as well?

I believe it's one of the many systems to receive an upvote on a post by paying in Steem.
But I’m not very familiar with bots and things like that.

I believe we should find a system to reward investors without them having to post AI-generated or copy-paste content every day.

We need to distinguish between investors and bloggers for the benefit of the platform.

The only way is to change the way bots distribute rewards, perhaps by distributing them directly in their wallet, leaving the content side to those who truly write.

This way, the platform could develop its full potential, both in the investment sector and in the creative side of bloggers.

But I’m not sure if it’s possible, if those who manage the bots are willing to revolutionize their distribution system.

This is not generated text but a copy and transkation of what steemitblog posts. It's like you posting my story with a different title and first picture translated... and receiving an upvote for that

Your idea is interesting

Steemit is also like an exchange platform, some users look for different ways to get good rewards, this is achieved with votes from whale accounts, these votes can be bought with Steem, or in exchange for delegation, which in a certain way is legal, it is permissive. What is wrong is that some try to skip the platform regulations, publishing plagiarized, spam or repeated content, only with the intention of obtaining rewards without much effort.

Taking the example of @aneukpineung78 and the clarification of @moecki, a relationship must be made: If the investment was 102 Steem, and the user is about to receive 59 Steem Power and 59 Steem, it would be a total of 118, generating a profit of 16. In case he received SBD, the profits would increase.

  • Even though the user generates a profit of 16, he loses liquidity, since 50% of the rewards go to SP, that is, he invests 102 liquid Steem and receives 59 Steem, so he must wait at least 3 weeks to complete the initial liquidity, or he has to invest 61 Steem to continue with his farming plan.

It should be noted that these types of users and content can receive significant downvotes, which substantially reduce the rewards, generating losses for their investment.

  • On the other hand, returning to what @aneukpineung78 pointed out, there is a possibility that the transfer of Steem for the purchase of votes will not be effective, if we take into account the same case, the user has sent 4 transfers of the same amount:

But only one has been made effective.

This means that it will take longer to recover its liquidity.

he invests 102 liquid Steem and receives 59 Steem, so he must wait at least 3 weeks to complete the initial liquidity, or he has to invest 61 Steem to continue with his farming plan.

That's actually a positive side to these practices! 👍

only one has been made effective.

Not any more. Sometimes it takes a little longer and if it doesn't work at all, the amount is returned.

So the conclusion is that it's not worth it, right? =D

It's not worth it if it's applied for a single account, but normally those who do this have more than 10 accounts generating farming to multiply the profits, so it would translate into a profitable business (as long as it doesn't get discovered).

Wow! Never have thought it like that. In the past, I tried it just to get some understanding, I even made notes on MS Excel to see the graphic from time to time and from different vendors and rates. And the ones who I thought benefit the most were the seller. =D

Thanks, a great addition to my knowledge.

How much does one pay for such an upvote?

I believe it depends on the sellers, some sell at a fixed price, some other are more flexible but always a minimum payment. This is not new in Steem.

So it's good to close a deal with the seller?

I don't really know. It the past I tried several times and in my opinion based on those experiences it is not worth doing it. Not to mention that sometimes they just "forget" to vote and you just cannot reimburse. But let's see from the above picture, this account pays 102 STEEM for 100% vote, and get in return the vote of as much as about 50 to 60 STU, plus the curation trail that follow which is not so much, the buyer will have about 60 STU in payment.

The payment breakdown will look like this picture below. 170 STEEM + 170 SP, deducts 50% curators' rights = 70 STEEM + 70 SP, with a capital of 102 STEEM, isn't that very interesting? It makes about 40 (STEEM + SP) in total in one transaction.

Unfortunately, the values on Steemit are not correct. I am working on a suggestion for correction.
Please check Steemworld under posts for the correct amounts. The author gets about 120 SP (60 SP + 60 STEEM). That leaves around 20 SP profit. With SBD it would be even more (depending on the price).

The curators only get SP.

Yes, it was a simple calculation, 😃 thanks for correction.
