Nature is Waking Up — The Arrival of Spring!

After a longer and colder winter than usual, there are signs that spring is finally about to happen!

I went to the Post Office on Friday afternoon, and the cherry trees outside the building were in full bloom!

It's so nice to have longer days again, and to see nature come back to life! The daffodils along our driveway will soon com into bloom.

Soon, we shall start gardening in earnest; once again we plan to expand our vegetable garden this year. We are putting in new beds outside our deep proof fence. Those will be for onions, garlic and potatoes... which the deer will not touch.
