What's up my people, I hope you are very well and welcome to my blog, today's work is about a girl who I decided to call Scarllet which we can see with a hesitant and melancholic look hiding behind a wall while watching her great love:

To start with my work I focused on building a good sketch with a pose like half side or back and for this I took a long time until I finally got a structure that left me August for what I planned to paint. With the help of yellowish tones I was building Scarllet's skin in order to vary a little the painting of the skin and make it look much more unique; this took me a little time because I tried several shades of yellow until I got to the one you will see next.

After finishing painting the base of the skin and placing the shadows and glosses to achieve a good volume and realistic enough the next step in the painting process was to create the eyes, lips and other details that would give expression and character to my character. To create the eyes I used a lot of gray tones to contract a bit and then for the lips I applied a soft scarlet red tone to achieve intensity; finally I added a couple of blush details to the cheeks with the airbrush.

To create a very elegant look I decided to create a dress in a red-orange shade somewhat low-cut and very tight to the body; for this I decided to start with flat brushes to lay a little base color for the dress and then with the help of the airbrush I added much softer and more delicate strokes for the sleeve area of the shoulders and also to apply a little texture in the middle part and on the neck collar.

For the hairstyle I was encouraged to continue using red tones, but going towards the more gray and opaque tones to achieve a bit of color difference; first I used the airbrush to create a quite elegant hairstyle and gathered at the top with a kind of bun. Then to get a little more realism and relief in the hair I used a couple of brushes with a defined and thin tip to create scattered strands of hair, but in a combed direction.

After finishing everything related to Scarllet's character I continued with the background and the main idea was to create an ordinary wall, but at that moment I realized that it looked very simple and boring and I decided to add several textures; first I used a rough brush for the farthest part of the background and then I added more texture to the wall in front. Finally I decided to risk a bit more and created a chain-like texture in 2 different shades which I then blurred.
