Frenkie de Jong in gray style

Hello my people, I hope you are very very well, today I bring you a new drawing in grayscale and once again is related to the field of sport, today's drawing is about Frenkie de Jong the footballer from the Netherlands who currently plays for FC Barcelona in Spain, besides being a regular in the selection of his country, in this post I want to show you a little bit the process of making this drawing so you can appreciate it a little better:

Hola que tal mi gente, espero se encuentren muy muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo dibujo a escala de grises y una vez más va relacionado con el ámbito del deporte, el dibujo de hoy es sobre Frenkie de Jong el futbolista de los Países Bajos que actualmente milita en el FC Barcelona de España, además de ser un habitual en la selección de su país, en este post quiero enseñarles un poco el proceso de realización de este dibujo para que puedan apreciarlo un poco mejor:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I started sketching a little guided by the reference image I had on my phone, I painted many lines to give shape to the character and to serve as a guide at the time of outlining and painting.

Inicie a bocetar un guiándome un poco con la imagen referencial que tenía en mi teléfono, pinte muchas líneas para darle forma al personaje y para que me sirvieran de guía al momento de delinear y pintar.

Starting with a medium gray, which was the one I chose for the background of the drawing, I decided to use a slightly lighter gray for the player's skin, then I added details of volume mainly to the face, for this I used variations of the original gray of the skin, a darker gray tone for the shadows and a lighter gray for the light areas.

Partiendo de un gris medio que fue el que elegí para el fondo del dibujo decidí utilizar un gris un poco más claro para la piel del jugador, luego le fui agregando detalles de volumen principalmente al rostro, para esto utilice variaciones del gris original de la piel, un tono de gris más oscuro para las sombras y un gris más claro para las zonas de luz.

For the hair I decided to paint it with a slightly diffuse brush, I applied a slightly dark gray base and established the structure, then with the watercolor brush I painted the strands of hair in a variation of light and dark grays and added small areas of light and shadow.

Para el cabello decidí pintarlo con un pincel un poco difuso, aplique una base de gris un poco oscuro y establecí la estructura, luego con el pincel acuarela fui pintando los mechones de cabello en variación de grises claros y oscuros y añadí pequeñas zonas de luces y sombras.

Next was the painting of the player's jacket, here I took a little longer than in the other parts I painted, because I wanted to make some realistic details such as folds and for that I had to try very dark and very but very light variations of grays, besides painting small details like the shield and the shoulder stripe.

Lo siguiente fue el pintado de la chaqueta del jugador, aquí me demore un poco más que en las otras partes que pinte, pues quise hacer detalles un poco realistas como pliegues y para ello tuve que probar variaciones muy oscuras y muy pero muy clara de grises, además de pintar pequeños detalles como el escudo y la franja del hombro.

Finally I added details to the background to highlight it a little more and added more shines and shadows to the player, highlighting a little more the eyes, details of the face and also of the jacket.

Por último agregue detalles al fondo para resaltarlo un poco mas y agregue mas brillos y sombras al jugador, resaltando un poco más los ojos, detalles del rostro y también de la chaqueta.
