A Best Friend

As a child, I would often paint horses. They looked either like big dogs, or small giraffes. I would watch horse races with admiration and ride a horse only in my dreams. As years passed, my love to horses only grew. I was seriously thinking of going to an equestrian school. The result came quite quickly.

As I couldn’t give up on the thought of learning to ride a horse, after several years, I felt confident in the saddle, and after another couple of years, I would skillfully overcome obstacles, and some time later, I met Bourbon.

Please meet Bourbon, my devoted friend with who I won my first medal. At some point, he brought regular prizes and categories to sportsmen, he was the horse of the Masters of Sports in dressage and show jumping. Then he was going from hand to hand as a “riding horse”, and this is where we met.

I was touched by his past and couldn’t allow him to fall into the wrong hands. As I took care of him, we aspired for more victories. I had a chance to practice with numerous horses, but I felt a sort of connection to him.
