Which do you think is more important, ability or beauty?

Beauty is a quality that relates to physical attractiveness, an appealing shape and body that attracts attention, it is a physical nature agreed by the society as pleasant.
If Beauty is limited to physical appearance, its value further drops in comparison to ability.

Ability is what a person can do, my ability is a combination of my skills, talents and capabilities.

When Beauty is beyond looks.

If Beauty is limited to a persons looks, then it feds in comparison to ability, but if the beauty is deep enough to include the persons personality, character and other qualities like compassion, empathy and purpose, then such beauty stands a chance against ordinary ability.
In my opinion, deeper beauty can rival ability and physical beauty invested in a modeling carrier or in a beauty pageant has real value.

When ability is not marketable

Some skills can not be monetize such that it could have financial leverage over beauty. The ability to sleep soundly, to roll your tongue or put your eyeballs together at your nose are abilities that realy do not have value in the light of economic importance. only marketable skills are better than beauty.
When looking at other benefits of beauty and ability, they seem to both have advantage and can not proof itself better than the other.

Beauty and ability are incommensurable.

Depending on the ability in question, this two entities really looks incommensurable, all having their unique advantage in their own right.

Ability, even if not monetized, can bring:

• Personal fulfillment and growth
• Social impact and contribution
• Innovation and progress
• Human connection and understanding

Beauty, on the other hand, can bring:

• Joy and inspiration
• Cultural and artistic significance
• Self-expression and confidence
• Social and emotional connection

Let's appreciate and celebrate both ability and beauty in their diverse forms, acknowledging their unique values and contributions to our experience as humans.
