My friend @thebighigg was thinking that we had a Bobcat nearby, looking at the wind blown tracks I photographed two days ago.
These clearer tracks definitely confirm this, we have a furry, four legged hiking companion!😻
It’s interesting to hike with snow on the ground!
It’s a beautiful sight to behold, and actually quite a bit quieter, from the snow insulating the sounds bouncing off the ground.
You also have a rare opportunity to see exactly who or what is hiking on these Mountain trails…… along with you!😇
It looks like Mr Bobcat likes the same trails as Silvertop……….
I “tracked” this Bobcat all the way up the “High Trail” to Tim’s off grid cabin.
That’s when his trail turned, and disappeared into the deep brush of the forest!
It’s so awesome to share the forest, and the hiking trails, with these very regal creatures!😺
I stepped to the side of the trail, and looked deep into the underbrush ………..
I couldn’t see any trace of this wild Cat…………….
Was he just inside the forest watching me…….. maybe!😻
I knew it was best to stay on the trail.
This is HIS home, Silvertop is just visiting!😊
