The weather was too nice to miss out on a long hike to the OTHER side of the Mountain!😊
“PEPE not see dis other side of Mountain before ………dis side hab BIG Pond Silbertop?”🐸
“PEPE both sides of the Mountains have clear running streams, and lakes you won’t be able to resist jumping into my green friend!”☺️
That was all it took, PEPE grabbed his green backpack that he got from Santa, and the two of us went exploring!☺️
It was a long steep climb for both PEPE, and Silvertop!😅
Up top, Keith built and installed a wooden bench for hikers to stop, rest a bit, and take in the view of the Eastern side of Sumas Mountain!

It’s like my green friend can smell water Lol!🤣
This Ridge top is where Keith stores his household water in large holding tanks.
Pumped from an artesian well hundred of feet below, up to these tanks that you see in the photos!
No electricity is used to pump this water!
Simply the energy of the flowing water!
Like a pendulum on a clock, with a device called a water ram, water can be pumped uphill hundreds of feet!
Amazing!!!😊
