Scams I know?
| From Meta AI
The alarming rate of scams is too high, different means of scams are being introduced daily and it is left for us to be security-conscious. The most common scams are cyber scams and many people fall victim to these fraud activities. One of the scams I know is the Facebook scam where scammers get rid of your account using various means like sending links that save your login details and they get hold of your account easily. So always be aware of links that you click because it can make you lose your personal information to scammers.
Another cybercrime people in the Web 3 space fall victim to is losing assets in their wallets to scammers. Many fake projects do clear out assets in a person's connected wallets to their sites. In this popular era of telegram tap-to-earn projects many fake projects have also disguised taking away people hard hard-earned assets. Someone made a post on twitter how he lost $200 after connecting to a project, and it turned out it was a fake project. We should always be conscious of sites we link our wallets to or we can create burner wallets to connect to all these sites.
Some people scam via calls and text messages, they will tell you that you're eligible for a big offer and to redeem this offer you'll need money for them to process it. After sending the money you will be blocked. It's just common forms of scams we should be aware of.
