The Mountains Are Calling!............. NW Cascade Wanderings
Ah, yes it’s Monday. Not always everyone’s favorite day for sure, but I don’t mind them so much. I’m sure I’d feel differently if it were a workday for me!
After some computer stuff, a long conversation with our youngest and things around the house, we stepped out to run a tire to the local tire shop. Before changing out to studded tires back in November, I’d been fighting a slow leak that required a weekly top up of air. With the deadline approaching to get the studs off the car, we knew it was time to see about that leak. Ironically, we could never find what had caused it until today when @silvertop lifted the tire out of the back of the truck and in the processed, snagged his hand on what turned out to be the culprit! There was a small brad like nail almost in the sidewall. We left the tire so they could see if it’s repairable. Unfortunately, it’s not. I guess a couple of new tires are in the offing for my car. 😏
That straight looking thing middle of this next picture is actually Bellingham Bay. Kind of amazing it can be seen from the trails we hike.
