Roasting Day............. NW Cascade Wanderings

I needed to roast coffee for a customer on the east coast, but first, I needed to attend my ladies Bible study. We were not all present, but more than I thought would be there, were. It seems right now, there are a lot of people with health related issues right now. Just in this group, we have one husband of a lady with knee deterioration, another’s husband is having falling issues, one lady has a skin carcinoma removal tomorrow, another lady was just diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure, a couple with hip issues-all just within this group! It just seems like things like this are on the rise. It makes one think..🤔

After the study, I went home to begin roasting the coffee. I also roasted some for us, so a total of 6 pounds were done. Then it was off to the post office to ship it.

Once home I fixed a coffee and sat down to enjoy it. I’ve had my own issues with a painful hip today 🙄 and hoping resting it would be a good thing.

Tomorrow finds me headed to work for my Monday on a Wednesday. This week is another odd one as on Thursday, instead of a half doc day he’s there for the full day. Friday, no doc and no Donna. Just a ‘me, myself and I’ day. The first in a long time. I’m kind of looking forward to it because honestly, I am more productive working on my own rather than when I have someone to train. It’ll be a nice change.
