Pete And Repeat............. NW Cascade Wanderings

I was originally going to play off of a childhood joke of sorts…. Pete and repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off-who was left? Repeat! You would then say the same joke over and over until the person you were talking to finally realized they shouldn’t answer anymore!

All joking aside (pun intended) HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎈🎊🎆 everybody! I hope it finds you doing well!

It’s a clean and fresh start to another year! So many hopes and dreams, and I hope everyone realizes theirs in the upcoming months!

Resolutions-do you make them? I used to, but realized most of the time they fell off somewhere along the path. So now, I instead think of those things that could be resolutions, and with a mindset of intentionality, choose a couple to pay attention to. We all could stand to do better or be better than we are. My hope is to improve! 😎

Today’s activities were roasting coffee for us-oh it smelled so heavenly! I roasted five pounds in the end. Then, I texted Jan and she joined us for a New Year’s Day hike. It wasn’t raining for once although it was cold enough that I wanted my fleece headband to cover my ears!

We ran into a couple of neighbors along the way and spent a short while visiting.

I have so many pictures to share from last night’s broadcast of the drones/fireworks display from the Space Needle in Seattle that was on TV. I have a Secret Santa gift reveal from my #silvergoldstackers Secret Santa, but won’t do that post until I’m sure the pictures can be uploaded. So Secret Santa-hang on- I’ve not forgotten you!

Tomorrow finds me heading into work. A new year with new insurance plans-oh joy! 😏 I’m sure it will probably drive me crazy in the end, lol! 😜
