Part 2: Gold Mine Trail............. NW Cascade Wanderings

There is always something to see on The Gold Mine Trail! Yesterday’s hike was no exception! The first picture of the ‘shroom-a magnificent specimen for sure! The details of the underbelly always surprises me.

Interestingly shaped Hoof Fungus and now a two tone one.

This leaf might remind you of Fall, but I’m thinking the over abundance of rain might account for it as well as some of the underbrush that’s looking more like August than June.

There’s a place near Hayden Creek that would be absolutely perfect for a bench to sit on. If you want to take it further, I think a coffee bar and a couple of bistro tables would be perfect as well! ☕️

I’m going to try putting last nights video here and fingers crossed that it works tonight. It’s worth watching or even just listening to!

That’s gonna be it for today. I just got word that Yana’s kids are sick, so I texted Donna, and she’s coming in to help. Nice!
