Eye Candy............. NW Cascade Wanderings

Bellingham has some interesting architecture. In the first picture, you can see historical Mt. Baker Theatre in the distance on the left and the Assumption Church on the right. Keep in mind, I was at the bay and used my phone to capture this. They look nice against the backdrop of the bluish clouds.

Today was my Monday at work. Nothing spectacular happened although I had an 85 year old patient who got glasses elsewhere and I’ve been working with him on adjustments. His prescription is complicated and with the glasses, he’s seeing double. He’s been back to his regular optometric doc several times without any resolution. I suggested he see our doc for a second opinion and he and his wife agreed. I gave them a discount on just a refraction. It turns out that he’s calling for a lot more prism in his RX than what they gave him, hence the reason he’s seeing double. It’s a special case with a specialty item needed which I’m in the process of trying to get for him. I’ll contact him later, hopefully this week with more specifics.

In the meantime, we had 3 cancellations for the afternoon and the last appointment was a no show 😕

I’ve got more eye candy for you from the trip to the bay and one short video of Alfred the Seagull in flight. At the end, I anticipated him turning one way and he went the other, lol! Contrary bird!

Tomorrow morning is open at work with appointments in the afternoon. I have plenty to do though so no danger of me falling asleep on the job!
