Christmas-Like Caturday!😻🌲............. NW Cascade Wanderings

It was raining-again. Saturdays-er….Caturdays are often spent sleeping in and eventually getting to the day at hand. I did sleep in a little, but last night @silvertop suggested a trip to the mall in the event it rained today. So of course I said okay! You see, there’s this store there called Bath & Body Works. I usually shop online, but since we were going to the mall, I had to find my way into the store! For those who don’t know, this store sells high fragranced soaps, lotions, hand sanitizers, candles, their version of a ‘plug in’ and many other delectable smelly things! I am addicted to their candles-I admit it, so there was no way I wasn’t going to stop in.

I had a reward that entitled me to free merchandise, but had never been able to get it to work online. After shopping, I headed to the check out where I told the clerk about my rewards issue. He looked and discovered I had not one but two rewards I could use. So he looked at the items I’d picked out to purchase and selected the two that qualified. In the end, it was about $34 worth of merchandise-FREE! Free is good! 😎 I was happy with my “smellies” that I got-all Christmas smellies! 🎄

By this time, we’d walked the mall about twice round and headed for the car. On to Walmart.

Christmas was in full swing there as well! I’m kind of wondering what exactly happened to Thanksgiving, but I’ll have to admit I’m liking the holiday cheer!

Next stop: Starbucks!

Christmas was there as well. November 7th was the launching of their Christmas cups. I was looking forward to seeing what the new cups were about. I still have one from last year’s collection, lol! We ask for super hot ( 190 degrees) coffee and double cups which they accommodate us. I always keep those spare cups and make my own coffees in them at home. 😁

Then, a quick run through the Dollar Tree store and home. On the way, we actually found quite a few houses with Christmas lights bedecking the homes. Yes, it looks like everyone is getting in the mood early this year!

Now, on to Caturday! Here’s Cyle enjoying the warmth of the wood stove last night. Couldn’t you just bury your face in all that fur?! 😻
