A Stroll By The Sea!............. NW Cascade Wanderings

It was a beautiful day for a stroll by the sea! @silvertop desperately needed some Goo-Gone. I needed to do 2 Amazon returns as well, so it made sense to take our hike to the sea today! What beautiful weather! Highs in the low 70’s and a bit of a breeze. Maybe a bit stronger of a breeze at the bay, but sunny as all get out! Somehow, we managed to hit low tide once again which almost always guarantees saltwater wildlife sightings-namely starfish! They were everywhere!

There were so many of them; some lying on top of flat rocks where everyone would be walking because of the low tide. I worried for their safety! I also wonder how long they can stay out of the water and exposed to the air? Google answered my question stating around 5 minutes which means there are a lot of what I see that will die. Kind of sad….😢

@actifit-lamb came along for the ride, but didn’t climb out of my backpack until we went to the Woods coffee shop and got a mocha frappe, lol. Then she popped out to take advantage of the drink!

She’s been a bit lazy lately. Going to have to work on that I suspect. 🙃

As you can see, it was a gorgeous day! We then went to get the Goo-Gone and do the Amazon returns afterwards.

That’s gonna be it for now. We have an ‘off’ week from Bible study this week. I have coffee to roast tomorrow and then deliver it to town.
