Contest:"Is there absolute friendship between genders? "

One of the most valued gift is the gift of men. There's nothing like having friends, genuine friends. And several times we see debates on if there could be absolute friendship between genders. Most men will say no and alot of Ladies on the other hand will agree to it.

The difference in view is what makes us humans. Our ability to think differently and look at things from different perspective is what makes us unique and what makes us in need of each other. Like the saying goes "no man is an island".

I believe there can be absolute friendship between genders. A lady and a man can be friends without any strings attached. Every friendship should have boundaries and with each party respect each other boundaries i see no reason why they can't be friends.

Even after marriage you don't discard your friends because you are now married. Things can not be as they used to be but it is very important to maintain communication with your friends as your spouse cannot be the only person you need. You need others too.

Friends are priceless gifts and as a person of principles you can maintain Friendship with the opposite sex without any form of entanglement. That is why it is important to move with like minded friends it will help you alot to maintain boundaries.

I greatly emphasis boundaries when it comes to friendship. It will help you maintain the friendship and as a person you should know what you want and stick to it. There can be absolute friendship amongst different genders as long boundaries are applied to the friendship.

One cannot do without friends and you need both genders. Make friends with like minded people and that friendship can last till the day they depart from this earth.
