What is the most useless thing you have ever bought?

Many years ago I bought a pair of mountain boots. I had decided to go trekking, I had even studied the routes online, I had searched and found associations that organize trekking, even for several days, both in summer and winter, even on snow. However, to participate you must have the right clothing, the most important thing is shoes.

So I spent around 90 euros, about 600 steems, on a pair of boots with non-slip rubber soles, capable of taking you into the mountains, walking even on damp paths or crossing a stream. Wonderful right?

These shoes must be worn with special, very thick socks to avoid hurting the ankles and feet. In fact, they have a very rigid toe and the ankle part is also rigid to prevent a sprain from falling.

The problem is that these shoes are very uncomfortable and before using them on a trek you have to use them for a few walks every day.

I only used them once, on a two-hour trekking and I was destroyed. I don't know if it's because of the shoes or the fatigue of walking. However, ten years have passed and those shoes are still in my house, I even tried to resell them on ebay but without success!
