Sweat it out - what we do for fitness
Sweat mens perspiration. It is usually salty in taste. It is released from the skin to help keep the body temperature normal when the body faces pressure so to speak. When the sweat evaporates, the surface of the skin cools, thereby regulating the temperature.
Every fitness routine is meant to help you sweat out. It is only when the sweat is dropping that you will be convinced that you are really doing it. As a fitness instructor, I sweat while coaching others. I also watch others sweat while I am coaching them. If I don't see them sweat, then I won't be convinced that I am really pushing them to the limit. Hence, sweating is the starting point.
A friend and a client on e told me that she hardly sweat. But in the end, sweat still comes out. What is even exercise without sweating? It doesn't make sense to me. But what does sweating it out mean to me?
What does sweating it out mean doing your exercise programs?
Simply put, it means working hard on exercise programs. Literarily, it means being persistent until a bad situation improves or ends. Of course, we exercise to improve our body health and structure. Take I myself for example. I joined fitness because I had osteoarthritis due to overweight. It was really bad then that I had to join fitness.
While exercising, I tried hard to improve my situation by sweating it out despite all what other say. Most people always say that they are not in competition with anyone. That it is not compulsory that they complete the programs given to them. Sometimes they lie that that have completed theirs when in fact they didn't. I was determined to improve my situation because I really needed it.
With time, the same people started telling me that I have really improved. That I am even behaving like an instructor. I was then used as an example to anyone that complains that he or she is not getting any results. My instructor will always temm me to be serious and not to mind anyone that is not. Today, the result is obvious. I don't relent until I get results in whatever I do. Consistency is usually my watch word. Sweating it out is my thing.
What exercise programs did you do that made you sweat?
Every exercise programs make me sweat. But on Monday this week, I made sure that I sweat during all the programs that I carried out. As soon as I got to the venue, I started jogging. I went round the field for 7 times. My body released those sweaty that I didn't need.
Then I moved to our group exercise to be able to coach others. I began with warmup programs, then I moved to other programs like leg raises, arm stretches, squats, and others but then we wrapped it up with running in place where the 2 legs count as one but for 500 repetitions. It was really amazing to see everyone try hard to get to the end. I was so impressed. This made us to sweat like never before. Some pictures of myself are below
You can see how hard I really went in order to achieve my sweaty face
Take a picture of video of your sweaty face and upload. Explain the picture to us
The pictures above show my sweaty face. This picture was taken immediately after the 500 repetitions of the running in place. While everyone was busy panting out of tiredness from the programs, I noticed that @alli001 was taking some pictures. I told him to snap me and others who were tired and then later, we took the selfie above.
How do you feel when you sweat during exercises
I feel fulfilled when I sweat. I feel happy that I have been able to do something. I feel that I am on course. It is an achievement for me. Sweating doesn't come easily. It is a result of hard work and consistency. Pushing yourself to the limit. It helps me feel better faster. It helps my skin to glow, it helps remove unwanted elements like cholesterol , salt and alcohol from my body. It shows that my heart is working well. And what is more? It helps me to maintain a healthy weight, improve my mood, and boost my energy. The benefits goes on and on.
What is the importance of hydration during exercise
Sweat is in water form. When we sweat, we become dehydrated. Hence, taking in fluids like water helps to replace those lost in course of sweating. When we remain hydrated during exercise programs, it helps the body to function well and improve performance. It also helps to lower body temperature. It boosts energy as well, thereby helping me to to get tired easily.
In conclusion, don't give up until you sweat it out! Be consistent and work hard, then you will definitely sweat and achieve the desired result. Meanwhile, don't fail to remain hydrated during exercise programs to help your body function well and replace the fluids that were lost. The next time you exercise, try to sweat it out.
Best regards
