Hello Steemians, I am very excited to be participating in this Fitness challenge, and thanks to the Steemit community for including Fitness in the Steemit Learning Challenge for Season 23. As a fitness lover, I have also seen exercise as an activity that is good for my general well-being. I carry out these exercises from time to time to keep fit and burn unwanted calories from my body. I was so happy when I saw the task because exercise has always been my thing.

In this post, I will be focusing on the Cardiovascular Exercise that I did based on the class, I will talk about my overall feelings as I carried out the programs, how it impacted my mental health, and lastly show a demonstration video of the program.

Cardiovascular exercise which is also known as Aerobic exercise is a physical activity that increases the heart rate of a person, helps to improve the circulation of blood to the body, and makes the heart and lungs very efficient. However, a lot of people do not take it seriously because they are often lazy to move their bodies. This exercise is one that increases the flow of oxygen through the body and enhances the endurance and overall health of a person, you find out that after carrying out this exercise you tend to breathe fast with your mouth because the body needs more oxygen. People looking to maintain their weight just like me can partake in this exercise because it will help to burn some calories from the body.

According to this week's task, Some Cardiovascular exercises were mentioned but two were assigned to be carried out, they are the Running in a Place and the Aerobic Dance. I carried out the exercises and made a 5-minute video of myself, below is the demonstration video.

What are your overall feelings as you carried out the programs? Did it build more endurance in you? Explain

Firstly, for the Running in a Place exercise, at first, it was difficult to stay steady because I wasn't taking in enough oxygen, but then I became comfortable when I regulated the pace at which I was running at a place, I felt my heart beating so fast and also felt some burning at my thighs and arm. this exercise helped to increase my endurance level.

The second exercise which is the Aerobic Dance helped to circulate blood through my body, I felt every part of my body come alive, I got so much energy in me, I saw myself sweating and my heart rate increased. I had so much fun carrying out this exercise and I enjoyed myself too.

How did this program impact your mental health?

This program impacted my mental health in a very great way, before I started the program this morning I was very tired, my whole body felt stiff and my mental performance was low but after this program, my mental health moved from 0-100%. My day was very productive because my brain was agile, I wasn't tired and my body was light too. I think I will keep up with this cardiovascular exercise because it has taken my overall mental health to a greater level.
