Introduction
What is cardiovascular exercises
Cardiovascular exercise are those activities that helps our heart to pump and beat faster there by increase the heart and pulse rate, it also improve the cardiovascular system and the body as a whole by breathing fast and sweating resulting in good health.
Why is it important
It is important because the cardiovascular system is the engine room of the body because of the heart that is there and has to pump blood and circulate it to other systems of the body, so if the cardiovascular system does not function well or sick other systems of the body will not function or work well.
Unlike some organs of the body that are two if one is not functioning well the other will compensate to reduce the work load until it begins to function again, the heart is only one do when it is not working the whole system will cease from working and this will results in death.
Programs that target the cardio
These are the exercise that helps in cardio
aerobic dancing, ridding bicycle, jumping, skipping rope, climbing stairs, rowing, mountain climbing, jumping jacks, burpees, squat jumps, swimming, jocking, walking, running etc.
How does it affect your overall wellbeing
It helps to maintain both upper and lower body core and makes it tight
It helps the heart to pump well
It improves the heart and lungs muscles
It improves body fitness
It improves endurance and patience
It cardiovascular fitness and normalize blood pressure.
It burns calories
It improves muscle tone
It boost immunity, keeps one strong and healthy
It makes the skin fresh
Makes one younker than the actual age
It helps in reducing weight
It helps on reducing the incidence of obesity
It reduces stress
It helps one to sleep well
It reduce the incidence of stroke
It reduces boredom and monotony

What is your overall feelings as you carried out the programs.
I felt good, happy, more energetic, less stress, uplifted, more positive with a sense of accomplishment.
Did it build more endurance in you?
Yes
Explain
Because at first it was hard for me to finish the one minute, I was painting like a dog but after sometime I finished the five minutes and now I use to do complete sixty minutes without break, so it helps me a lot.
How did this programs impact your mental health?
Cardiovascular exercise builds my mental health by making my brain to release neurotransmitters like endorphin and serotonin that helps me to feel good, elevate my mood, reduce stress, improve my sleep pattern,
It helps me to achieve my fitness goal and give me confidence and sense of accomplishment there by boosting my self-esteem.
It helps my brain to releases stress hormone like cortisol and adrenaline that helps to lower the level of my stress relaxes and calm my body.
It Improves my cognitive function and
abilities such as memory, focus, and processing speed.It takes my mind off from worries and provide me a distraction from negative thinking that may result in anxiety and depression there by giving my brain a break.
