Hello everybody from STEEMIT

Hello people, I hope you are all very well, it is great for me to share with you here at SING AND PLAY in your Week 161, I am talking about one of the 24 Chopin Studies, more specifically, The number 2. It is well said that mastering the studies of Chopin is essential for every professional and academic pianist, these 24 challenging pieces were composed specifically with the purpose of acquiring and perfecting a particular technique each one of them. With this in mind, the study that I practice in front of you today is Opus 25, number 2, that is, the second study of the second set of 12 piano studies that Chopin composed, and published in 1837, and this one focuses on the mastery of a polyrhythm, with triplets of eighth notes in the right hand together with triplets of quarter notes in the left hand as accompaniment. However, this is not a great difficulty, since a quarter note is given every two eighth notes and they are not counterbalanced. The real difficulty lies in the speed with which it must be interpreted, which makes good fingering essential. My current interpretation of this study is far from what is required, since I play at a note speed equal to 84, while the score requires a note equal to 112, and it is still difficult for me to emphasize certain dynamics of the piece. In any case, I hope you like my current attempt, and that you leave me in the comments any advice or annotation, since I will continue practicing this piece in search of a greater mastery, and an increased speed.

Hola gente, espero que estén todos muy bien, es genial para mi compartir con ustedes aquí en SING AND PLAY en su Semana 161, hablo de uno de los 24 Estudios de Chopin, más específicamente, El número 2. Es bien dicho que dominar los estudios de Chopin es esencial para todo pianista profesional y académico, estas 24 retadoras piezas, fueron compuestas específicamente con el propósito de adquirir y perfeccionar una técnica en particular cada una de ellas. Teniendo esto en mente, el estudio que hoy practico frente a ustedes es el número 2 del Opus 25, es decir, el segundo estudio del segundo set de 12 estudios para piano que Chopin compuso, y publicó en 1837, y este se enfoca en el dominio de una polirritmia, con tresillos de corcheas en la mano derecha junto a tresillos de negras en la mano izquierda como acompañamiento. Sin embargo, eso no supone una gran dificultad, pues se da una negra cada dos corcheas y no van contrapeadas. La verdadera dificultad reside en la velocidad con la que debe interpretarse, que provoca que una buena digitación sea imprescindible. Mi interpretación actual de este estudio está muy lejos de la exigida, pues toco a una velocidad de blanca igual a 84, mientras que la partitura exige una blanca igual a 112 además de que aún me cuesta enfatizar ciertas dinámicas de la pieza. En todo caso, espero que les guste mi intento actual, y que me dejen en los comentarios cualquier consejo o anotación, ya que seguiré practicando esta pieza en busca de un dominio mayor, y una velocidad incrementada.
