Model Kit Review, 1/72 Scale Heinkel 111-B Airplane

Hello, steemians!

For today's post, I have another model kit review for you. In this video, I'll be taking a look at a 1/72 scale kit for the Heinkel 111-B. This kit was produced by the company Roden, of Ukraine.

The HE-111-B was the first operational version of the well known WW2 German bomber. The first HE-111s were test flown in 1936, and after several modifications to produce the B version, were tested in battle by the German Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War, starting in 1937. The bomber proved to be successful enough that an upgraded version was ordered by the German Luftwaffe. The HE-111-E was put into service with the Condor Legion in mid 1938. The B versions were taken out of service early in WW2 in favor of the E version. The HE-111 stayed in service with the Luftwaffe until the end of WW2.
