Chicken Pie with Palm Heart - 21/04/2021
Today's recipe includes the following ingredients:
Dough:
3 cups of all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons butter
Half a can of sour cream
2 gems
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Filling:
1 tablespoon of oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 chopped onions
2 chopped tomatoes
1 chicken breast
1 glass of chopped hearts of palm
Half a can of sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped green scent
1 egg yolk to brush
180g canned corn
Let's go to the dough
Pour the flour into a bowl and dig a hole with your fingers
Add butter, sour cream, yolks, yeast and salt
Mix with your fingers until the dough stops sticking to your hands
Knead for a few minutes, if you need to add more flour until the point of the video
Cover with plastic film and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator
Now it's the filling
Cook the chicken breast with a little salt and oil for about 30 minutes or until it is enough for shred and use 2 forks to pull breast apart
In a pan sauté the garlic and onion
After the onion is browned, add the tomatoes and the canned corn and sauté for 5 minutes
Add the shredded chicken, half a cup of water, salt and seasoning to taste and wait for the water to dry
Add the heart of palm
Add parsley and chives and finally the sour cream
Mix the ingredients and turn off the heat
Grease a pan with butter, if it has a removable bottom it is better, otherwise it's okay, it works the same way, we did it in a common pan
Reserve a 1/3 p cover, and with the other part line the bottom and sides of the pan
Pour the filling on top of the dough
Roll out the leftover dough with the rolling pin
Use the rolling pin as a support to throw the dough into the pan and close the sides tightly with your finger
Finally brush a yolk over the dough
Bake for 40 minutes
Then just serve
