INTRODUCTION

Good day Steemians of the great SteemFoods Community. It's been such a long week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge.
I am glad to be here to put in my entry for the contest for the week. It's not quite easy to be part of the contests so far but I have been pushing. The engagement challenge is not limited to our interactions here but also our interactions with nature, and the material things in the house. Extra efforts have been taking by everyone to go places, make art works, cook foods and do researches to be part of the challenge. For this contest, I had to go to shoprite even though I didn't buy anything this time. I went there just to be able to create this content with valid and up to date pictures.

THE SHOPRITE SUPERMARKET

Shoprite is the largest grocery and household store in Nigeria. It has the best prices in terms of cost when compared to some other supermarkets around the Nigeria environs. It is located in major cities of Nigeria such as Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Asaba, Enugu, etc.

The building that houses shoprite in a of the cities I mentioned above is called Shoprite but other stores in form of departmental stores are in the building. Store for some eateries like Chicken republic, Dominos, Captain cook and other eateries. Shop for gift items, jersey wears, Polo, round-neck, geans and shoes, shoes for kitchen utensils, lady's wigs, Offices of network providers and many others make up the departmental stores available in the shoprite building. These shops are demarcated and rented out by the management of shoprite.

Food items like fruits, drinks of all kind, spices, garnished chickens and other assorted meats, small chops, biscuits, meat pie, fish pie, egg rolls, etc are all sold in the Shoprite Supermarket.

Aside groceries, there are many household items sold in the supermarket that can be gotten for the best reduced price. Such items are: Bathing and washing soaps, detergent and toiletries, kitchen utensils, hand and bathing towels, body and hair creams, etc.

The shoprite I visited is the one located in Akure, the Capital City of Ondo State. It is located at the junction of either Igbatoro road or Oda road a place where four different roads meet. But the official address is Igbatoro Road.

THE REASONS SHOPRITE IS MY BEST SUPERMARKET

1. The Shoprite environment is neat and beautiful. Every item is well arranged in separate places and it's a beauty to behold.

2. It provides all of the groceries other household items I need in my house. This prevents me from walking distance in the market or going from shop to shop to look for different food items.

3. It offer one the opportunity to see handsome guys and ladies from all classes. It doesn't select or reject individuals because of their class. For the many times I have been to shoprite, in each of the different occasions, I see beautiful ladies and guys, perfectly created by God. This makes me appreciate the beauty of God's creation in humans.

4. It has a structured payment system in computers that gives accurate calculations for items bought. I do not have to rack my brain to begin to calculate anything I have bought.

5. Going to shoprite to shop helps one to be able to visit other stores to buy things that are not sold or access other services.

Since I relocated to Akure, I have visited shoprite countless times. I visit shoprite once or twice a month depending on when I need to buy some food or household items. Like I stated earlier, I didn't go there to buy anything this time. My pockets and wallets are kind of full, so I took myself out to shoprite to only take pictures to be able to make this write up. I am not a fan of taking pictures. Therefore, in many of the times I went to shop, I only shopped and came home. I don't usually take pictures in busy places like that. On this note, I cannot provide a list of food items and their prices.

CONCLUSION

Shoprite is really a place to shop. There you get all the things you need. Just make sure to hold enough money because you would have interest in majorly all the things you see there. It is only control over self that won't make you over spend shopping at thus beautiful supermarket.

After spending the whole week around my street, I decided to go to shoprite just to create this content. I didn't buy a single thing actually. When I was done snapping, I went to see a friend that works in one of the departmental stores before I left for my house.
