Good morning dear friends, I'm Stephen from Nigeria and today I'm presenting to you a recipe for a popular and delicious Nigerian dish. It's called Palm Oil Beans and Dodo. It's a regular in most Nigerian dinning tables. I'll start with my ingredients then give you the method in a few steps.

INGREDIENTS
Brown beans 3 cups

2 tomatoes, 3 scotch bonnet chilli peppers and 1 large onion

100ml red palm oil

Ripe Plantains as desired

1/2 tbs salt and two stock cubes

METHOD
STEP 1
I washed my beans and put in a suitable pot. I poured in three cups of water, placed a pot cover and put on fire to cook on high heat for 30 minutes.

STEP 2
I blended my tomatoes peppers and onions and set aside.

After 30 minutes I checked the beans and it was tender so I reduced heat to medium then I added my blended ingredients.

I added salt, 2 stock cubes and my palm oil.

I stirred up and placed a pot cover and allowed to cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes I turned off the heat and removed the pot cover.

STEP 3
I peeled my ripe plantains and sliced them into flat oblong shapes. I placed a pan on fire and poured in 100ml vegetable oil, I heated it up and fried my plantains 2minutes on each side until they were cooked and browned up.

After frying them, I removed from the hot oil and placed in a shallow bowl.

I served some of my palm oil beans and added a side of fried ripe plantains and took the picture on my title page.
