CLUB5050

Dear food lovers, we all must have heard about the club5050. Yes, it is trending but have you joined? It is a club for those who are willing to powerup at least 50% of their liquid earnings in SBD. It means that every 7 days, you check your total earnings for that 7 days, then use the SBD to buy steem in the steemit internal market, then powerup at least 50% or more of the total earnings. It is that simple. You have to keep doing that repeatedly. That means that at any point in time, the amount powered up should be equal or exceed any amount you may want to cash out.

Remember that the amount you have powered up is still yours. So having a savings culture is great. So if you are very sure you have been powering up,, you can then use the tag club5050 in the first 5 tags in your post. Great! I have personally joined and have made post about it. Check my post here

So please, let us all embrace the club5050 and stand the chance to receive extra support from the curators.

Now, I will start by sharing my breakfast with you my dear friends.

My breakfast with fried potatoes and mixed cereals

This morning I prepared mixed cereals and fried potatoes for the family. I love complementing the fries with this cereal for my kids health benefits.
I have also tried limiting the intake of fries for the sake of their health

The kids enjoy having this meal. I combined it with the fried potatoes and added milk and sugar to make it more tastier for the kids. They enjoyed this meal as always and I'm really glad they did.

Local African salad for lunch

I wondered what to eat in the afternoon, but suddenly a woman that sells African salad came by. She always comes around at lunch time and since I love this meal so much I decided to buy some.

The African salad is a cassava-based dish. It is from the Igbo tribe of Nigeria . This meal is enjoyed by many Africans.
It is prepared with the following:

  • Cassava flakes
  • Fresh pepper
  • Onions
  • Garden eggs
  • Traditional nutmeg
  • Potash water
  • Utasi leaf

My dinner

Hmmm, after a long day at the office, I prepared a special meal for the family for dinner.
I prepared what we call white soup (Nsala soup)
Here are some of the processes I took in preparing this delicious and mouth watering meal

Ingredients

IMG_20211016_131241_779.jpgIMG_20211016_131111_083.jpg
  • Meat
  • Periwinkle
  • Stockfish
  • Yam
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onions
  • Seasoning cube
  • Uziza leaf
  • Crayfish

Procedures

I steamed the meat with pepper, salt, onions, seasoning cube. I also added the periwinkle to the meat.

I cut the yam to slices and washed stockfish with hot water.
I added the stockfish and then the yam to the mixture and allowed it to soften.

After some minutes and the yam softened I brought them out and pounded in the mortar (the yam serves as a thickener to the food)

IMG_20211016_140429_755.jpg pounded yam in mortar

The yam is then put back in the pot as a thickener to the soup.

After allowing it to boil for some minutes, I added crayfish and afterwards some oil. I gave some time for the oil to rhyme with the other mixtures.
After that I lastly added the utazi leaf. And the meal was finally ready, see below

I'm so happy I could prepare this delicious meal for my family despite being tired from work. It gives me joy to see the whole family happy.
We had this meal together as a family and the kids had very good time together

Hola amiga, un gusto visitarte, que interesante conocer las comidas que se prepara en África. La ensalada me gustó mucho, pero más la cena, esa sopa blanca, se ve exquisita. Saludos desde Venezuela.🤗🙋
