SteemFoods Contest -17-| Promote Your Favorite Street Food Restaurant! | Must Try Streetfoods in PH ♡
Hi guys! Today, I'll be sharing one of my streetfood stall. I used to drop by here upon heading home to eat and boost up from exhausting day at work.By the way, the night before I made this blog, I came to an idea to make a challenge. $2 challenge, in which I will only use 100 peso or $2 to eat the streetfoods I want. Let me show ya!
Aside from great place in here, our streetfoods is also our pride. Most of the tourists here tries these foods to complete their exploration. These foods in street is just to ease your hunger when you're in hurry. And our exeptional love for food came up with this idea, putting it all in a piece of stick for more convinient cooking and eating. It'll full you tummy by just stading a few minutes with the variety of flavors.
This is the pricelist and their menu. It is all written in Philippine peso. Everything in the menu only costs 117 PHP or 2.34 USD. Yeah right, they are so cheap yet tasty!
This is the stall where they sell Barbeque, Isaw or intestine of pork and chicken, Betamax or blood of pig shaped into square and grilled, hotdogs and many other parts of the pig, chicken and cow.
This is how they cook it. Cleaning all the food, marinating it to put flavor then put it in stick before grilling it.
By the way, Pinoy out there you may visit this in Hulong duhat, Malabon City. Beside the park and in front of the hulong duhat public market.
Gettin' back to my challenge, after getting sumptous of food it only cost me 65PHP. Look, I paid 200PHP and they gave me this. 135PHP as change.
So basically, I got these all for only $1.3
and I still have 35PHP left in my $2 challenge. By the way, I took this photo at home coz' I was really full and the crowd is starting to boom right after I bought food. Scared to put off my mask for safety purposes.
So lets continue the story, after buying Isaw, baga, Isaw ng manok, butse, bituka and all, I walked straight to kuya in a bicycle beside.
You see that man with the helmet, thats what Im talking about. Hehe :)
Here, this is another version of isaw, squid and liver. All in stick and deep fried. Since I still have 35PHP left, I'll spend it here.
And get some palamig or juice too! It only costs 5PHP.
So I spent 5PHP for the juice or buko pandan and 18PHP for the fried squid (3PHP each) and 10PHP for the isaw (5PHP each)
So here they are all in.
Sorry for the shots, coz they really stares at my picture taking. Hahaha! They might think that I will be reporting the food or what. So I just made a simple shots wherein no one hopefully can notice.
##Breakdown:
> 100PHP/$2
65PHP/$1.3 - Ihaw/Grilling station
5PHP/$.1 - Palamig/Juice
28PHP/$.56 - Calamares/Fried squid
Overall, it all costs 98PHP or $1.96.
YEEYYYYY! GOTCHA! :D
Cheap yet tasty! You guys must visit different streetfoods here in Philippines. You'll enjoy it surely. Lets pray this pandemic ends very soon so that we can eat freely anywhere without wearing this mask. Me and my friends loves eating anywhere really!
##Have a great day steemfooders!
