Stir-fried stick noodles (Mie lidi goreng)
Hello guys , yesterday i was cooking stir-fried noodles
The uniqueness of this dish lies in the basic ingredients of the noodles. The noodles are rounder and thicker and look like an upright stick when they are raw. So it is more familiarly called stick noodles.
This stick noodle is actually similar to pasta, but the color of this noodle is more orange, and the shape of the noodle is bigger and coarser.

The ingredients
Stick noodles, boil then drain - 200 grams
Chicken, diced - 100 grams (optional, here I don't use chicken)
Meatballs, sliced - 6 grains (optional)
Caisim, cut into pieces - 4 sticks
Ground spices
8 pieces of chili (according to taste)
garlic (3 cloves)
red onion (3 cloves)
tomato (1 fruit or 1/2 according to taste)
candlenut (can be replaced with peanuts)
Additional seasoning Garlic, roughly chopped - 3 cloves
Sweet soy sauce - 1 tbsp
Salty soy sauce- 1/2 tbsp
Oyster sauce - 1 tbsp
Salt( to taste)
Ground pepper - (to taste)
Sesame oil - 1 spoon
Oil, for sauteing - to taste
How to cook
Puree chilies, shallots, garlic, pecans and tomatoes, then saute, add a little water when sautéing
1 Heat a little oil. Saute garlic until fragrant. 2. Then add the spices that have been mashed
- Enter the chicken and meatballs. Stir until the chicken changes color.
- Enter caisim. Stir until the vegetables are half wilted.
- Enter the noodles. Stir well. Season with sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, salt and ground pepper. Stir until well combined.
6 Add sesame oil.
Stir quickly then remove.
7 Ready to be served.
8 TIPS
- Filling can be replaced with a variety of seafood according to taste.
- If you want it to be spicier, you can add it with cayenne pepper
