Eggplant Balado
Hello steemian friends.
Today I want to make eggplant balado. For #steemfoods I learned to make this food from my mother.
5 spring onions
5 red chilies
4 pieces of cayenne pepper
1 large tomato
Salt and flavorings
Shrimp paste (if you like)
Clean water approximately half a liter
Cooking oil.
How to Cook
Cut the eggplant into small pieces
Puree shallots, red chilies and Cayenne pepper, add shrimp paste and salt to taste. Then cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
Heat the cooking oil, then fry the eggplant until it looks brown. Until it looks wilted, then lift it.
Then fry the mashed spices. Until it looks ripe and smells good, then add the sliced tomatoes, mix well. After evenly distributed and the tomatoes look wilted, add enough clean water (no more than half a liter).
Then add the fried eggplant. Mix well until evenly distributed over low heat on the stove.
Then remove it when the spices are evenly distributed. Eggplant balado is ready to be served.
