Güllaç 👩🍳🇹🇷
Hi everybody! How are you doing? Today I will be giving you the recipe for Güllaç dessert, which is very popular in Turkey. It is a very light and delicious dessert that is also very easy to make! A great flavor for those who hold sweet crunch like me!
Although I am generally a humble person, I am very assertive about this! My guests, whom I make and serve this dessert, are amazed. I am stating that I do better than many restaurants. While cooking, I especially enjoy the dessert. I guess that's why it's delicious.
Necessary ingredients for Güllaç dessert;
Güllaç dough
Milk
Candy
Vanaline
Walnut
Strawberry
Note: You can also put hazelnuts or peanuts in it, the choice is up to you, because I like walnuts, I put them. You can also use different fruits instead of strawberries. The creativity in decorating is up to you!
The construction phase ;
First, let's boil 1 liter of milk, sugar and vanal in a saucepan over low heat.
Then, let's cut the güllaç doughs according to the container you will prepare. Let's pour a little of our boiling milk into the bowl and put the dough on it. We definitely wet each layer of phyllo dough with milk, otherwise it will remain dry! We put it in layers by wetting it.
When we reach a certain thickness, we put the walnuts on it and continue to layer it with dough and milk in the same technique. Continue until you run out of milk! But it is very important to stay wet.
The ready dessert should be covered with citric film and kept in the fridge for at least 3 hours. This period is important for it to absorb enough milk!
At the end of this time, take it out of the fridge, cut into slices, decorate and serve cold. Bon Appetit!
